How a build actually runs

Five stages, and the total demand on your time is a couple of hours. You are running a practice; the website is our job, not a second one for you.

Timeline

From first contact to live

The 30-day clock starts when we have your content, not when you first get in touch. Everything before that runs at your pace.

How much of your time a build costs The studio spends thirty days on the build. The practitioner spends about two hours in total: ten minutes on that first message, an hour on the content pack, and half an hour reviewing. OUR TIME 30 days: writing, building, testing, launching YOUR TIME about 2 hours, in total First contactten minutes Content packabout an hour Two reviewshalf an hour You are running a practice. The whole build costs you about two hours Ten minutes on that first message, an hour filling in a content pack that asks questions rather than showing a blank page, and half an hour reading it back.
  1. You call or email us, whichever you would rather

Tell us what you practise, who you work with, and which plan looks right. Prefer a call? Send a number and a good time. We reply within one working day with a plan and a price.

    your time: ten minutes
  2. We send a content pack

A short set of prompts, not a blank page: how you describe your work, your fees, registration, supervision. Most people fill it in over a couple of evenings. Photographs help but aren't compulsory.

    your time: about an hour
  3. We build it

You get a private preview link. We draft the copy in your voice, flag anything that would breach advertising rules, and mark every fact we couldn't verify so nothing goes live on a guess.

    your time: none
  4. You review, twice

One round of changes, then a final read. This is the point to run the wording past your professional body or CAP's Copy Advice if you want to. We'll wait.

    your time: half an hour
  5. Live, then looked after

Your domain, in your name. From launch day we test your form daily, run a quarterly health check, and make edits under your plan's allowance. If you leave, your content and domain come with you. See a worked example.

your time: an email when something changes
