What we do differently
Four decisions, taken because this is therapy and not retail. Each one costs us something, which is roughly how you can tell we mean it.
We check the wording against what the advertising regulator publishes
Therapy websites are advertising, and the rules are stricter than most practitioners realise: there's a published list of conditions you can't claim to treat without medical supervision. They come from the ASA and CAP, the bodies that write and enforce UK advertising rules. Our system won't write the risky version in the first place.
In practice, the phrasing describes what you offer and who you work with, not what your work will cure. It's not a smaller claim. It's a more accurate one, and accuracy reads better.
We are not your compliance officer. We show you what the regulators publish, and point you to CAP's free Copy Advice service and your professional body before anything goes live.
We watch your contact form every day
A broken form is invisible for months, and every lost enquiry was someone who needed help. We test your form daily: if it breaks and we don't catch it first, that month is free.
Forms break quietly: a mail provider changes a rule, a domain record lapses. Nothing on screen looks wrong; the only sign is a quiet inbox, easy to explain away for months.
Trust without testimonials
Most therapists can't ethically use client reviews, so we build credibility differently: verifiable registration, a supervision statement, plain English on confidentiality, and honest fees.
It works better than reviews would. Someone weighing up their first session isn't looking for five stars: they're looking for evidence that you're real, accountable, and unlikely to surprise them.
Accessible because it matters here
Every site meets WCAG 2.2 AA and scores 95+ on mobile, checked automatically on every change. Plenty of people reading your site are anxious, exhausted, or on a screen reader at 1am.
That's also why pages are light, text is large, contrast is high, and nothing moves under the reader. No carousel, popup, chat bubble, or countdown.
Check your own site's contrast, right here
The exact 4.5:1 test we run on every colour pair before a site goes live. Paste your colours (or your own hex codes) and see whether they pass.
AA requires 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text (24px+, or 19px bold). AAA requires 7:1.
This is what a heading looks like
And this is roughly body-text size: the size that matters most, because it's most of what a visitor actually reads.
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type here is sent anywhere.
What we do not do
Saying this plainly saves us both a call.
- We can't promise rankings or enquiry numbers. Nobody can.
- We're not a source of legal advice: we point you to CAP's free Copy Advice service and your professional body.
- We don't build booking systems or clinical notes. Good UK tools exist for that, and we work alongside them.
- We don't hold your website hostage. Your domain, your content, exportable any time.
